The storm water drainage in our area is horrible and dangerous. Several homeowners are affected by this. Before a development site is approved, we are asking that Flower Mound fix the current storm water drainage issues before adding more homes.

Flower Mound Public Works has acknowledged and addressed the storm water drainage problem over the past years, but their response has merely been a band aid.

At the Environmental Conservation Commission meeting where tree removal and storm water drainage were addressed, town staff even acknowledged the problem of too small culverts and undersized pipes, but nothing has been done about that.

These issues need to be addressed and fixed before allowing new developers to come in and build even more homes that will affect the already existing problem.

Trees that Knight's Landing will be cutting down will only add to the problem of erosion, thus creating more issues.
